The plain terms for reading this catalogue: what the measurements mean, what the prices mean, and what we can and cannot promise you.
What this site is
A catalogue of the socks we knit, with a link to a shop that stocks them. Reading it costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Nothing on these pages is an offer to sell you anything, because we are not the seller.
Measurements
The charts are ours and we stand behind them. Shoe sizes are given in US, UK and EU, and leg lengths on the knee-highs are measured from heel to cuff on a flat sock. Knitwear stretches, so a chart is a fit range and not a guarantee that one particular foot will be comfortable. Where a range overlaps, the taller height is usually the safer pick.
Prices
Prices shown here are the ones we last read from the shop, and they are indicative. The price that counts is the one at checkout. We do not set it, we cannot hold it, and it can change between you loading this page and pressing the button.
Availability
A pair listed here can be out of stock at the shop, and colourways come and go faster than a catalogue can. The button will tell you the truth even when the card is behind.
